Project "Metamorph" Game Concept
Game Concept
The “Metamorph” is stealth game in cyber punk stylistics. The actions of the game takes part in the city of the future.

Game has enemy hacking feature, so after player hack certain type of enemy, he can equip their informational cards for transforming into them. The hacking process is stylized as classical “bullet hell” game, so after bullet hell level is proceeded, enemy is considered hacked. The time that player can stay transformed is limited by 1 minute, after player run out of time, he will turn into his original form and wait for skill “cool down”.

By transforming into different types of enemies, player can get their abilities and weapon for a limited time. 
For side missions player will get the money, which he can spend on the amplifiers that increase his game performance (e.g. increase time of transformed condition, increase speed and buy additional gadgets like infrared camera, radar and so on).

There are few scales that contains different mechanics in them. First is Shield bar which in our game playing role of HP bar. Another bar is “Fusion core” bar. It is displaying the amount of time left before character will be lacking in energy. In mode when player is lacking in energy, there will be few negative buffs on him: “Shield bar” will not regenerate, and player will not be able to transform. 
In this project I was leading my team towards creation of proper game design document, based on the game concept I came up with for one of university modules. I also designed certain mechanics of the game, for example boss mechanics and many others.
